I would like to extend a warm welcome on behalf of Southwestern Elementary School. We are extremely privileged at Southwestern Elementary to have the opportunity to work with your family. What an exciting time it is to be part of this awesome school with technology advances, enrichment, and various student-centered activities!

The staff at Southwestern Elementary School possess an uncompromising dedication to always strive to be the best educational support we can be for all of our students. It is my belief that an educator's mission is to make learning enjoyable and exciting. If students look forward to attending school, they will want to learn. It takes a team of caring and understanding people working together to be the absolute best school for all of our students, which is what each student deserves.

Kindergarten registration is now open for the 2026-2027 school year! To be eligible for kindergarten, students must be 5 years old by August 1, 2026 and must be potty trained. Click the link below to register your child!

SWE will host Kindergarten Round Up on April 16th from 5:30-7:00! This evening provides opportunities for incoming kindergarten students to explore SWE, tour a kindergarten classroom, meet SWE staff, enjoy a snack in the SWE cafeteria, and much more. Students will also complete incoming kindergarten testing at the event. Please plan to join us for this exciting evening!

Welcome to Spartan Country!

Southwestern Elementary School currently serves approximately 400 students in preschool through sixth grade. We are a unique school, focused on providing students with a mix of state of the art educational opportunities and experiences founded in the traditions of our community.

SWE staff is dedicated to the growth and development of each individual student, using data to drive instruction, forming relationships with our families and community, and making learning exciting for our students. Our students are provided one to one technology, digital and traditional teaching resources, interventions to support individual student learning, and a safe environment to grow and develop to their fullest potential.
